East Line Solar

Project Background

The East Line Solar Plant, a 100-megawatt (MW) facility located in Coolidge, Arizona, was developed by sPower and began operations in December 2020. Spanning 851 acres, it comprises nearly 1 million solar panels mounted on single-axis tracking systems to optimize energy production. The plant generates approximately 277,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity annually, enough to power about 35,000 homes, and offsets nearly 200,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions — the equivalent of removing 41,000 cars from roadways.
